Overview
The Civil Services Exam is India's most prestigious examination conducted by UPSC. It selects officers for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service. The exam consists of Preliminary, Main, and Interview stages. Success opens doors to leadership positions across India's government.
Eligibility
Candidates must be Indian citizens with a bachelor's degree. Minimum age is 21 years with no upper age limit for General category. Good health and sound character are mandatory. Candidates must meet educational standards prescribed by UPSC.
